How do I look after a Wool Felt Hat?

The general hat care advice for cleaning wool felt hats is as follows:
To remove any bits/lint/fluff etc, you can use a lint roller to gently remove them.
For mud stains, it's best to gently brush off any mud after the mud has dried and if necessary you can use a damp cloth or sponge to remove any excess. If you have stubborn stains, you can add a little bit of mild detergent to the damp cloth but just be gentle and careful, and try a bit at a time. Try an inconspicuous area inside the hat first.
It's also worth storing hats in a box when they're not in use to keep them dust-free.
If your hat gets wet, shake off any excess water and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature (Don't put it next to heat sources ie radiators).
